Fun, Fun, Fun (2 of 10)

...till the daddy takes the T-Bird away
Yesterday was rather suberb, and today was grand!
I love my family!
  • Yesterday:
We went to Knotts Berry Farm, which has become a tradition between all the cousins. Actually, Knotts can be seen on the opening scenes of "Knocked Up."

They had this amazing deal: People can get in with a the donation of a $10 toy (proceeding Toys for Tots). What a great deal; kids in need get Christmas toys, and people get in with a reduced admission price!

  • Today:
We went to the beach and had a picnic while watching the surfers, the waves, the clouds roll by, and listened to jam-worthy music (now with me, that means it's time to jam). It's getting me tempted to call up my buddy to plan a surf-session soon!

Afterwards, we went back to town and explored: we went to an art gallery and watched my cousins do some skateboarding tricks. Then, we went to RedBox to get a movie and we ordered some pizza. We watched "The Bucket List," and I agree with the critics: It truly is a great movie!!! Maybe I'll make a bucket list in future blog posts....

  • Bottom line: I love my family!

Homework Assignment 1 of 10+

So before I left for CA, LoBo gae me a homework assignment. I am to do a blogpost at least once every three days. I can dig it. Let's start shall we...
I got a new phone before I left for CA. It was a really generous Christmas present from my mother! Of course, my mom sure knows how to find the stellar deals, so it was definitely a steal. My new phone is the new LG Voyager. It's totally groovy!

Reasons why my new phone is more killer than the iPhone:
  • it has a QWERTY keypad
  • it's with Verizon!!
  • it has a 3GB data network
  • real-time GPS
  • cheaper
  • ability to add memory cards (for photo and music (yes, music) storage)
Hot-diggity dawg!

Now my phone is attached to my hip, and somehow I am getting a lot more activity with my new phone. Interesting, ay?

Now, I'm not bashing Macintosh b/c they sure are amazing. You see, I just have a new phone; it's groovy, ya dig?

Cram-tastic

Cramming: a wonderful part of life that extends well beyond the student years.

In dedication to finals approaching, I've compiled a few lists.

~~~~~Things not to do when studying, yet we all do them.... ;)
  • Find the coziest chair to study in.
  • Forgo sleep
  • Drink exessive amounts of caffeine
  • Spend hours and hours studying one subject.
  • Facebook/Blogger/Google excessively
~~~~~I'm going to try to do the following during exam week:

  • Use those horrible wooden chairs that JMU provides us in the library
  • Sleep! I love sleep!!!
  • Drink coffee only in the morning. (I rarely drink coffee in the morning, but I have this new Swiss coffee that I love to make and dip some homemade-Bryan-honey bread into my coffee...delish)
  • Delegate my time and information accordingly and spend a couple of hours studying effectively.
  • Still use Facebook/Blogger/Google excessively
  • Make rootbeer floats
  • DANCE PARTY!!!

Perhaps, with these effective methods, I can still salvage straight A's or good grades (or close there about (minus that incredibly bogus COB 291 class)).
